- I turned 35!!!
- I got in touch with my father's side of the family for the first time.
- I met my cousin Dana, my father and one of my father's sisters for the first time.
- I got rid of Sprint and switched to a Boost mobile account.
- I joined the world of smart-phones and now own a Blackberry which I LOVE!!
- I've talked to my father twice. Once in person and once on the phone. He's a very reserved guy but very nice. I look forward to getting to know him. He's had a lot of health issues over the past few months so if you are reading this please keep him in your prayers. He's feeling a lot better but still has some healing to do.
- I also met one of my father's sisters. Linda is the baby of the family. She was very nice too.
- My father has 8 brother's and sisters. Two of which have passed away. So my family went from two aunts and one uncle on my mom's side to 3 uncles (two which are no longer with us...one was just a baby when he died) and five aunts!! A grand total from both sides of 11 aunts and uncles!! Not to mention quite a few cousins. My family grew BIG TIME... :) It's a lot to take in but I am grateful to have each and everyone of my family members.
- I've also chatted through Facebook with two other cousins both which seem very nice and I can't wait to get to know more about them too.
I finally got rid of Sprint even though it cost us a bit of money to get out of my contract but it was well worth it! We had 2000 anytime minutes and we were doing fine with it for awhile BUT me and Dana like to talk :) so we were going over our minutes...my husband like to talk too BTW the minutes were almost evenly split this last month...lol Soooo It was time to shed Sprint.
We ended up going with Boost Mobile. The plan was 60 month for a blackberry plan with unlimited talk, text and data. A VERY good price and for my husband and me it was just a little bit more than what we were spending with our overage with Sprint AND I got a Blackberry which is a really cool device!
Now for the bitter part...I got a THICK grey hair on my head for my birthday! It got yanked! LOL Not fun :(
Ok no more novel writing! I hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day and don't forget where we get our freedom from. First from the Lord who sent his son to die for us and also from those who serve our military. Some who never return home to their families. May God bless each family who has lost a loved one in the military!
